SKILL
Woodcutting
Fell trees in Rotwood Grove. Trees grow back, so you never run out, you just get better at asking.
MENTOR: BRAMBLEAREA: ROTWOOD GROVE
Why
Timber feeds Crafting (rods, planks, decor blocks) and Smithing (tool handles), and the weird woods sell for real gems.
Older, stranger trees deeper in, a faster axe, and eventually a tree with a heartbeat.
Every timber grade opens a new recipe somewhere else in Endsville.

The path
| LEVEL | KIND | MILESTONE | WHAT IT DOES |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | RESOURCE | Dead Sapling | Twigs. Enough for rope, which is enough to start. |
| 8 | RESOURCE | Gnarled Oak | Proper logs. Planks, tool handles, rod poles. |
| 10 | PERK | Steady Chop | One less chop needed on every tree. |
| 15 | PERK | Split Grain | 8% of hauls come out doubled. |
| 18 | AREA | Rotwood | The wet, dark part of the Grove. Weeping Willows drip on you here. |
| 22 | PERK | Sap Luck | 6% of hauls hide a bonus gem or two. |
| 30 | AREA | The Boneforest | White trees, no leaves. Haunted Elm hides in the middle. |
| 35 | PERK | Second Chop | Another chop off every tree. |
| 42 | RESOURCE | Bone Tree | Bonewood. Light, hard, and it wants to be a fishing rod. |
| 45 | PERK | Fast Regrowth | Trees grow back 30% faster. |
| 50 | AREA | The Heartwood | Secret clearing at the centre of everything. Something in it is still growing. |

The mentor says
- Ah. A new pair of hands. The trees have been counting.
- Chop the saplings first. They do not mind. Much.
- Oak at eight, and then the Grove starts to get interesting.
- Twigs make rope. Rope goes to Needle. Needle makes rods and snares.
- Rotwood opens at eighteen. Bring an axe worth bringing.
- Willow drips. Elm listens. Bonewood waits.
- Roots go up here. That is why the ceiling is a garden.
- The Heartwood has a pulse. I checked. Twice.
